Editorial Policy

Author’s Guidelines

Please note that the same article cannot be published both in the conference proceedings and in a journal.

Authors are advised to submit their papers through online (Link) in MS Word format {authors details (Not more than three), Main text of paper (introduction, statement of problem, objectives, Research questions/hypothesis, Methodology Finding/results, conclusion and references)}.

The editors reserve the right to edit articles to conform to the style of the journal. All submitted articles are refereed by academic specialists in the journal´s field of coverage.

Please use the following template to format your manuscript:

Language

All articles must be written in English. If English is not your first language, please ask an English-speaking colleague to proofread your article.

Structure of the Article

  • Title Page
    The title of the article should contain no abbreviations or acronyms. The title should be followed by the author’s name, affiliation and E-mail contact.
  • Abstract
    A 150 to 200 word description of the article
  • Keywords
    Please describe approximately 5 key words (or phrases) suitable for indexing and on-line search purposes. They should contain all the essential words or phrases of the title and of the abstract.
  • Introduction
  • Background
  • objectives
  • Method
  • Results
  • Discussions
  • Conclusion
  • Limitations and future research directions
  • References
  • Appendices (if applicable)

Body

Format text and paragraph of body in the following style:

  • 12-point – Times New Roman
  • Double spaced
  • Margins must be 1 inch on all sides
  • All pages must be portrait, no landscape
  • The pages should be numbered serially
  • Length of the paper: Manuscripts should usually be less than 6000 words in length

References

References should be cited in the text according to the APA style. Please ensure that dates, spelling and title used in the text are consistent with those listed in the References.

It is the author´s responsibility to ensure that where copyright materials are included within an article the permission of the copyright holder has been obtained.

 

Copyright

Author retain the copyrights and will grant the University of Wah Journal of Social Sciences (UWJSS)  with non-exclusive rights of first publication of the manuscript electronically and in print form and to identify UWJSS as the original publisher under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International LicenseIt will allow others to share the contents with an explicit indication of the authorship and its initial publication in UWJSS. Under these licensing terms, the authors confirm that all the contents of the published manuscript will be distributed in the public domain and other researchers may use it exclusively for any scientific purpose with the obligatory acknowledgment of authorship.

Under this license, the author’s published in UWJSS retain the copyright and publishing rights of their scholarly work. All other authors using the content of UWJSS are required to cite the names of the author(s) as well as of the journal in their work. Articles of UWJSS can be read and shared for purposes under the following condition:
